A Brewery with bite
I was hired to create a main logo with the potential for brand extensions as more products become available. Savage allowed me a great deal of creative freedom, only requesting that the logo reflect in some way the Arizona climate where they are located.
Color
Strong contrast is needed in this crowded market to stand out on a shelf. While many craft breweries choose to use neon and flashy palettes, the choice was made to explore the opposite. The dark palette supports the sinister nature of the logo.

Logo Mark
In order to stay competitive, a total facelift was in order.
I developed a logo mark that is both a reference to the tough nature of location of the brewery, and classic label design.
Label Design
High contrast, dark personality.
Savage's beer selections have cheeky names such as "Darker than Sin Porter" and the "Far and Wide IPA." Such distinctive names demanded an equally unique and striking bottle design.
Brand Extensions and Development
Embracing the new brand, Savage named their new product Underbelly Ale.
Finally, Savage Brews had a logo with personality; with bite. Together, we developed labels for the upcoming Snake Bite Sour, and Underbelly Ale.
Additional Collateral
The new face of Savage Brews demanded all new signage and print pieces. I got them started with some of the basics.
